9TH ANNUAL RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER - AUGUST 26-27, 2017

Before The Ride

Training

Most likely you're not used to riding such a distance in one day, then waking up the next morning and doing it all over again. So we'll help you get ready to do just that! We organize training rides and provide orientation sessions where you'll learn more about bike basics in case you've never changed a bike tire or want to know the difference between a road and a mountain bike. And last but not least, you can always call the Ride Guides at (888) 771 BIKE[2453]

Fundraising

Whether this is your first time fundraising, or you're a seasoned pro, we'll help you reach and exceed your goals. From your own fundraising webpage to personal advice, we'll be there for you the whole way.

Don't know a load of philanthropists? Not an athlete? Visit the Fundraising and Training sections of our website to learn more.

On The Road

Safety First

Your safety is our #1 priority. Every detail of the event is studied and executed with the greatest of care - we don't take chances when it comes to your safety. To ensure that safety is at the forefront of your mind, as well as ours, all participants are required to watch a mandatory safety video presentation that is informative, inspiring and thorough.

Medical Care

You'll never be too far from medical attention at any point along the route should you need it. We have an incredible team of volunteer doctors and other medical professionals at camp and pit stops along the route. No matter what, you're always cared for throughout the event.

Pit Stops Along The Way

Out on the road, regular pit stops line the route every 25-30 kilometers, stocked with water, sports drinks, high-enerrgy snacks and other helpful supplies to keep you going as you ride to conquer cancer. We also provide toilet facilities at pit stops and other key locations along the route.

At Camp

Gear Transport

We'll transport your luggage to camp, leaving you free to focus on your journey. Just drop off your gear at the specially marked trucks on Saturday morning and pick it back up at camp that night. It's that simple!

Camp Life

After a long day's adventure, you'll settle into your comfortable, Ride-provided tent. But before you hit the hay, you can enjoy all the amenities available in your new home away from home, including hot showers, catered dinner and an evening of entertainment. You'll also have free access to medical attention and massage services.
